Earl Grey Brownie

12:11 AM

Hello everyone!! Welcome to my very first (ever) cake blog post! Can’t you tell how excited I am? I’ve been waiting for the right time and sort of gathering my confidence to finally doing this! From the very first day I started my online based home bakery, BakePack, I’ve been dreaming of writing my cake and baking journey. So here we are! YEAY!

I choose to start with the simplest recipe that we ever made in BakePack kitchen! It’s everyone’s comfort cake, BROWNIE! Anybody here hates someBROWNIE? Well, you’ve got to give our brownie a try! For some of you who’ve been following my BakePack journey, you must have noticed that we love to give a little twist and spark to each and every recipe to make it special.

This time we do it by adding some earl grey fudge to our brownie. YUM! Are you salivating now? Don’t be! Cause you can make your own. It is one simple and easy recipe. There is no way people will fail in doing this recipe. It is comforting and packed with beautiful flavor of classic earl grey tea.

You can adjust the length of the baking time according to your own preference of how perfect brownie is all about. Some people love it soft, while me and some other would love it dry with some crunchy texture on top. Understand and know your oven well. For a crunchy and dry brownie texture, always set your oven in high temperature around 180-200 degrees Celsius. You will need around 15-20 minutes only to get this perfect brownie to be done!

Good ingredients is the key to a good and delicious chocolate cake. You are welcomed to use any kind of cocoa powder and chocolate to your liking. For me, I love dark chocolate. For this recipe, I use Dutch Cocoa Powder and semisweet Dark Chocolate. You can see how dark my brownies turned into because of these two ingredients. Milk Chocolate could be your alternative, just make sure you could adjust the recipe since Milk Chocolate is richer and sometimes sweeter.

I know they might not be the prettiest brownies that you’ve ever seen but I’m pretty sure this sweetie is surely not to be missed!

Should you ask what is my fave part from this recipe, it would be the earl grey fudge! Oh My God. Earl Grey is my fave tea. I never thought that chocolate and earl grey works really well in one recipe. I call this fudge recipe as one lazy recipe cause I can just simply dump everything in one saucepan, put it in low heat, stir everything until well combined and VOILA!

Girls, boys, ladies and gents, give this simple easy recipe a try! It is so good, fudgy and packed with earl grey goodness. Should you have kids, boyfriend or girl gang, this is a perfect anti failure kind of recipe that you could try this weekend. Still insecure with your baking skill? Well, you can always contact our team and we will have it baked for you! Enjoy!
